Peddle loomed 100% wool pillow made with natural dyes collected from nature. Back is plain grey wool.  Hand made by the Martinez artisan family in Oaxaca, Mexico.

At the very heart of Arudeko is a love for Mexican design and the artisans they work with, the preservation of traditions, community support and environmental responsibility.  Sisters Nailea and Denisse work in close collaboration with artisans in Oaxaca to produce pedal loom pillows and rugs.  They use environmentally sustainable local wool, that supports the local community and their economy, and all natural seasonal dyes that are non-toxic and do not pollute the eco-system.  From collecting and preparing the natural dyes and wool, to dancing on the loom, each piece is made by hand and preserves the traditions and knowledge of Oaxacan textile craft that have been passed down from generation to generation.
