TONE Textiles’ Corté Cushions are made in Toronto, Canada from up-cycled vintage textiles sourced from Guatemala and high quality upholstery grade velvets. The cotré is a traditional wrap skirt worn day-to-day by mayan women.  The ikat patterns are unique to each region and town and are referred to as jaspé in the local language.  This pattern is from Patzun, Chimaltenango in the Guatemalan highlands.  Includes a feather insert.
