The Bijani carved candle holder is a piece of Rajasthan's agricultural history, once used as a seeder tool in the region's fertile farmlands.  The farmers attached as many pipes as there were holes under the seeder, placed the seeds in a funnel on top, and as they plowed the land, they could seed several rows at a time.  These objects have been transformed from a humble farming instrument into a beautifully crafted candle holder.
